Description
The core focus of this role is to drive, lead and manage logistics strategy, design and capabilities to service our customer networks ensuring that we meet key SLA’s, through developing and implementing Internal and External Customer Logistics Operations KPI’s.

Work in the Global Logistics Warehouse with key responsibilities to perform Inventory Management, Asset Tracking and RMA Reporting via Supply Chain Management Systems. The ability to formalize and generate formal reports in support of the Global Logistics Manager and the Director of Supply Chain Management. Must have the understanding and ability to issue accountable property to Sales Orders in Dynamics AX Inventory Module, with the ability to generate system analytics for forecasting. Must have fully understanding of how to perform inventory location audits and reconcile variance count. Manage the replenishment order process through procurement.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:

o Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
o Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
o Provide leadership in solving logistics challenges and improve processes
o Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
o Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

Requirements

Education and qualifications:
  • Associates degree (preferably) or 4 years administrative and inventory management
  • Experience in Inventory Management, Audits and Cycle Counts
  • Experience developing strategic logistics solutions, outside the box
  • Experience optimizing networks with a clear understanding of shipment ordering systems, warehouse management systems and order variability systems
  • Basic knowledge of Harmonized System and product classification experience
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • Knowledge of industry best practices (warehousing / logistics / transportation/ KPI’s)
Skills:
  • Excellent/Good command of MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
  • Experience with ERP, Dynamics AX, Sales Force, Barcloud and SAP Database/Software
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Good communication skills, both in writing and verbal
  • Excellent presentation, analytical skills
  • People management skills
